”
The value of SouthUp goes far beyond providing office space. We received a complete support that every early-stage startup needs – connections to hospitals in the region, access to high-quality talent, professional guidance, and services that helped us move forward much faster. Looking back, choosing SouthUp was one of the best decisions we made. After two years, we faced the dilemma of whether to relocate to central Israel to be closer to the medical ecosystem. In the end, we realized that this is our home. We decided to stay in the region, and today we operate from the "Sapirin" Industrial Part at Sha'ar HaNegev.

”
Very quickly, we realized that southern Israel was the natural place for us, thanks to its agricultural ecosystem, high-quality workforce, and regional incentives. After completing the incubator program, we chose to continue our growth at SouthUp. We required unique infrastructure for development and manufacturing, and the incubator provided us with a fast, professional, and precise response to our needs. Throughout the entire journey, we benefited from collaboration, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to help. That support enabled us to focus on what truly matters – developing our technology and growing our company.

Our programs

A complete defense ecosystem for acceleration

A DefenceTech ecosystem combining land, air, and sea testing environments, a direct line to the DDR&D (MAFAT) at the Ministry of Defense, and acceleration programs in defense, HLS, and dual-use solutions. The incubator scouts promising technologies and startups, runs feasibility studies, provides a professional support framework, and connects them to defense bodies, industry, and relevant customers. The ecosystem also includes the HLS.IL community — a platform for connections, collaborations, and market access with thousands of members.

Agricultural innovation – from field to lab

A unique agricultural ecosystem linking R&D, entrepreneurship, and needs from the field, in partnership with Sapir Academic College (the HAI Center at Sapir), the NES Foundation, and the Western Negev Cluster of Authorities. Activity focuses on four main tracks: R&D and innovation, acceleration of entrepreneurs and companies, professional training, and guiding and implementing new technologies among farmers in Sha'ar HaNegev and the Western Negev. The model connects academic knowledge, technology, and farmers – advancing solutions from the lab to the field.

Advanced medicine & digital health

Accelerating MedTech companies through a support framework that includes access to labs, connections with hospitals and research institutes, and unique funding programs. We guide companies from the prototype stage through regulatory approval processes, and help bridge the world of research to the global health market.

Deep tech & artificial intelligence

A dedicated program for DeepTech and AI companies developing breakthrough technologies – from the lab to the market. The program provides access to advanced computing infrastructure, collaborations with academia and industry, professional expertise, and a network of investors specializing in these fields. The framework helps companies tackle development challenges, shorten the path from proof of concept to commercialization, and accelerate the move from innovative technology to product and market.
